↪ Automatic insertion of pagebar into your blog. Unfortunately this only works for “simple” themes which have a single post loop. For more complex themes with multiple post loops you can still insert pagebar manually like version 1.x.

↪ For themes which use the “.navigation” class the navigation can automatically be hidden.

↪ No more function parameters, simply use the option page for the individual setup of pagebar.

↪ You can define how many pages will be displayed on the right, left, and in the center of pagebar:

With no previous and next buttons:

Now you can display the Previous/next button even if you’re on the first/last page:

↪ Optional external stylesheet, no more editing of style.css file. Still you can embed all CSS in the style.css if you want to do so.

↪ Use tokens to customize the page buttons.

This is not the end of the pagebar development. I have a few ideas in at the back of my mind. Wait for the things to come… soon in this theatre

The plugin file was renamed to “pagebar2″ (instead of simply “pagebar”) since this is a complete rewrite with nearly no code from the previous version. To point this out I decided to rename the file. I hope this will not inconvenience you!
